Why don't Back/Forward light up on my mouse?

Not every mouse has extra side buttons, and some browsers intercept them for page navigation before this page can see them — if yours has side buttons but nothing lights up, try clicking directly inside the test box rather than elsewhere on the page.

What counts as a "good" double-click speed?

Most operating systems default to a 300–500ms double-click threshold. If your measured time is consistently much higher than that, your OS may not recognize your clicks as a double-click at all — worth checking your mouse settings if that's unintentional.

Does right-clicking in the test box open a context menu?

No — the context menu is suppressed inside the test area specifically so you can test the right button without a menu popping up over it.
