About

ToolBox is a collection of 323 free, single-purpose web tools — calculators, converters, generators, and formatters — built and maintained by one developer, Anatolie, based in Moldova.

Why it exists

Most of these tools started the same way: needing to do something quick — convert a color, check a percentage, generate a password, format some JSON — and not wanting to dig through a cluttered page full of ads and unrelated content to do it. ToolBox is an attempt to keep that experience simple: one tool, one page, no sign-up.

How it works

Every tool runs entirely in your browser. There's no backend processing your input — the numbers, text, or files you work with are never uploaded to a server (the one exception, the "What Is My IP" tool, is noted in the Privacy Policy). Nothing requires an account.

Guides

Alongside the tools there are plain-language guides to the calculations and formats behind the most-used ones — how a percentage, a loan repayment, or a Base64 string is actually worked out, and where each stops being reliable.

How it's funded

The site is free to use and supported by advertising (Google AdSense) and anonymized traffic analytics, both described in the Privacy Policy. There's no premium tier and no paywall.
