- No — the QR code is generated entirely in your browser from the values you type. Nothing is sent to a server.
- What does "Hidden network" do?
- Flags the QR code to tell the scanning device your network doesn't broadcast its SSID, so it should connect directly using the exact name provided instead of picking it from a visible list.
- Will this work with every phone?
- Modern iOS and Android camera apps recognize this format automatically and offer a "Join Network" prompt. Very old phones (pre-iOS 11 / older Android versions) may just show the QR code's raw text instead of an auto-join prompt.
