About this tool
Choose an image, drag on the preview to select the area you want to keep, then crop and download it. An optional aspect ratio lock (square, 4:3, 16:9, 3:2) keeps the selection proportioned as you drag.
Everything happens in your browser using the HTML canvas — nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I adjust the crop area after drawing it?
- Not yet — drag again on the preview to redraw the selection from scratch. There's no handle-based resizing in this version.
- What format is the downloaded file?
- PNG, which preserves transparency if your source image had any. For a smaller file size on photos, run it through the Image Compressor afterward.
- Is my image uploaded anywhere?
- No — cropping happens entirely on your device using the HTML canvas. Nothing is sent to any server.
