About this tool
Keep score for board games, card games, sports, trivia nights, or any tally you need to track — add as many counters as you have players or teams, each with its own name, +/− buttons, and adjustable step size. Everything is saved automatically in your browser, so your scores survive a refresh.
New counters get a random animal name by default (click it to rename) — a quick, fun way to tell counters apart at a glance before you've assigned real player names.
Frequently asked questions
- Can scores go negative?
- Yes — the minus button always subtracts, even below zero, which is useful for games with penalties or negative scoring.
- What does the "Step" number do?
- It sets how much each +/− tap changes the score by — leave it at 1 for simple tallies, or raise it to something like 5 or 10 for games that award points in bigger chunks.
- Is my data saved anywhere besides this device?
- No — counters and scores are saved only in your browser's local storage on this device, not synced to an account or server. Clearing your browser's site data will reset the board.
