By using ToolBox (this website and the tools on it), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

2. What this service is

ToolBox provides free, browser-based calculators and converters. Each tool runs entirely in your browser — the numbers or text you type into a calculator are not sent to or stored on our servers. There's no account, sign-up, or login required to use any tool.

3. No professional advice — use at your own risk

Tools on this site (including but not limited to financial calculators like the Loan, Mortgage, and Compound Interest calculators; health calculators like BMI and Calorie; and electronics calculators like the Resistor Color Code and Wire Gauge tools) are provided for general informational and convenience purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional financial, medical, legal, or engineering advice. Always verify results independently and consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on them — including decisions involving money, health, or electrical/safety-critical work. 6. Locally-saved tools

Some tools — such as the To-Do List, Kanban Board, Notepad, Weekly Planner, and Habit Tracker — save the data you enter using your browser's local storage. That data stays on your own device; it is never transmitted to us or stored on our servers, and clearing your browser data will permanently remove it. Because we never receive this data, we cannot back it up or recover it for you if it's lost.

7. Intellectual property

The site's design, code, and tool implementations are owned by ToolBox and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the tools for personal or internal business purposes; you may not copy, republish, or redistribute the site's code or design without permission. Anything you type into a tool remains yours — we don't claim ownership of it, and (per section 6 and our Privacy Policy) most of it never reaches us in the first place.

We may add, modify, or discontinue any tool or feature at any time without notice. We aim to keep tools accurate and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access or that any specific tool will remain available indefinitely.
