1. Overview

ToolBox is a collection of free, browser-based calculators and converters. Almost everything you do on this site — typing numbers into a calculator, converting a color, generating a password — happens entirely in your browser and is never sent to us. This policy explains the few things that are collected: anonymous traffic analytics, advertising cookies, and data you choose to save locally in your own browser.

2. Analytics (Google Analytics / Yandex Metrica)

This site may use Google Analytics and/or Yandex Metrica to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited, roughly how (device/browser type), and an approximate location derived from IP address. Analytics scripts do not load by default: on your first visit you're shown a cookie banner, and tracking only starts if you click "Accept." Declining, or closing the banner without choosing, means no analytics script loads and no tracking cookie is set. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage; to change it later, clear this site's data in your browser and revisit. Where Google Analytics is used, IP addresses are anonymized before storage.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. AdSense and its partners may set cookies and use device/browser information to serve and personalize ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud, in accordance with Google's Partner Sites policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google generally via Google Ads Settings, and from participating third parties via aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com. Ad cookies are separate from the analytics consent banner and are governed by Google's own consent mechanisms where applicable (e.g. the EU/EEA/UK).

4. Data saved locally in your browser

Some tools — the To-Do List, Kanban Board, Notepad, Weekly Planner, and Habit Tracker — save what you enter using your browser's local storage so it's there next time you visit. This data is stored only on your own device; it is never transmitted to us, never stored on our servers, and we have no access to it. Clearing your browser's site data will permanently erase it, and because we never receive it, we can't back it up or restore it for you.

We don't require accounts, logins, names, or email addresses to use any tool. Values you type into a calculator (your income, your health stats, your circuit values, etc.) are processed in your browser only and are never transmitted to or logged by our servers.

7. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us using the details below and we'll remove it.

8. Your choices and rights

You can decline or revoke analytics consent at any time (see section 2). You can block or delete cookies entirely via your browser settings, and clear any locally-saved tool data the same way. Depending on your location (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights regarding data processed by our third-party analytics/advertising providers — those requests are best directed to Google or Yandex directly via the links above, since we do not hold that data ourselves.

We may update this policy as the site changes (for example, when analytics or advertising is enabled). Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
