DEVELOPER TOOL
Fake / Mock Data Generator
Generate realistic placeholder names, emails, addresses, and more for testing.
About this tool
Generate realistic-looking placeholder data — names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, and more — for testing forms, seeding a database, or mocking up an API response. Pick the fields you need, choose how many records, and export as JSON or CSV.
All data is randomly generated locally in your browser from built-in name/word lists — it's fake, not pulled from any real person, and nothing is uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
- Is any of this real personal data?
- No — every value (names, emails, addresses, phone numbers) is randomly assembled from generic word lists. Any resemblance to a real person or address is coincidental.
- Can I control the exact format of a field, like phone number style?
- Not currently — each field uses one common format (e.g. US-style phone numbers). For a specific format, generate the data here and adjust it in a spreadsheet or script afterward.
- What's the maximum number of records?
- Up to 500 per generation, which keeps the browser responsive. Run the generator multiple times and combine the output if you need more.
